The Florida, our most compact Procona model, is an excellent choice for supermarkets and flower shops. With their 'Retail Ready' feature, the flowers can be sold directly from the Procona, without the need for additional steps such as repacking or cutting off stems. Moreover, the flowers look beautiful when presented in one of our handy displays. Practical and attractive!
The Florida is also used for export, especially for smaller quantities and sales markets. The Florida 18 has been specially developed for short flowers such as daffodils, short roses, anemones and hyacinths.

How does it work
The Procona system
Procona is a packaging and transport system that keeps flowers fresh from grower to consumer. The system consists of the following components:
1.
A Procona flower bucket (for single or multiple use) in which the flowers are in water
2.
A protective collar, available in multiple heights, made of cardboard (single use) or plastic (reusable)
3.
A lid with ventilation openings (single or multiple use) on which Proconas can be stacked

Products
Procona collars and lids
The collars are an important part of the stackable Procona system. The collars are available in multiple heights, so there is the perfect collar for every stem length. You can choose from recyclable cardboard or plastic collars.
The single-use cardboard collars are FSC certified, which contributes to forest conservation and a healthy environment. For heavier conditions (and for complete reusable packaging) there are our strong plastic collars made of polypropylene PP5, which can be reusable up to 40-50 times and come in transparent white as standard. Other colors are available on request.
All Procona collars are printed as standard with the Procona name and height and the recycling symbol. For a personal look, we also offer custom printing, available from a minimum quantity. In this way, the collar can also serve as a display.

Once the Procona is filled with flowers, the lid is placed on the top edge of the collar that fits into the rim of the flower bucket. Then, the flower bucket, collar, and lid are securely fastened with a strap, which allows the entire package to be lifted.
Thanks to ventilation openings in the lid, fresh air flows into the Procona, while the moist, warm air from the flowers escapes. As a result, even Proconas in the middle of a full pallet are well ventilated and the contents remain visible for inspection without the need for unpacking. The ridges on the lid ensure that a Procona placed on top easily slides into place and remains stable.

The topframe raises the Procona by 15-25 cm / 5.9"- 9.8", perfect for transporting and displaying flowers with longer stems. They are available for both Florida and Valencia/Amsterdam Procona's, giving you the flexibility to customize your presentation. The topframe offers a practical solution that contributes to an effective and attractive display of your flowers.
Promotional collar
Enhance the presentation of your flowers by adding a personalized promotional collar to the London Procona. With a customized text, logo or image on this presentation collar, sales are extra stimulated.
Sponge
For air freight that does not allow free water, Procona sponges offer a solution. These sponges ensure that your flowers remain hydrated for 1 to 2 days during (refrigerated) transport, so that they arrive in optimal condition.
Hanging frames
Hanging frames for Danish trolleys are available for Procona Florida, Valencia and Amsterdam. These hanging frames make transport, storage in the cold room and presenting your flowers a lot easier and more efficient.
